Okwahu United dumped out of FA Cup by Nkyenkyenkye

The surprising trends of the MTN FA Cup competition continues with Division One giants Okwahu United being eliminated by lowly Dormaa Nkyenkyenkye on Thursday.

Okwahu, who are fighting to regain their Premiership status were undone 4-3 on penalties after playing out a 1-1 at the end of regulation time.

Elsewhere, Inter Allies prevailed over Berlin 2-1 in the round of 64 game played in Tema.

Abdul Fatawu scored the first goal before strike partner Eliasu Fuseini netted the second for Inter Allies. Berlin FC were awarded a penalty just before half time, but Kofi Andoh’s spot kick was saved by goalie Emmanuel Osei Kwame before Stephen Sarfo slotted home the rebound.

Sekondi Hasaacas also progressed after beating Bolga Stars by a lone goal.
