Ghana Premier League TV rights holders says they will press  damages against the Ghana Football Association after Aduana Stars prevented a live telecast of their home game against Medeama.

The crew from Optimum Media Prime were stopped from airing the game live after Aduana officials claimed they received no notification from the Premier League Board.

The conduct of  the Aduana officials has angered many local fans with authorities at the Ghana FA expected to come down heavy on the Dorma-based side.

Aduana would face sanctions from the FA but the TV right holders have hinted they could press damagaes against the country’s governing body.

“Because we have sponsors (Rice Master) and we also have contract with Super Sports,” OMP CEO Fadi Fattal told Accra-based Happy FM

“We sent our men out there and spent a lot in terms of food, accommodation and security.

“We are going to officially write to the FA and put out all these concerns
