22th October 1969: AC Milan won his first Intercontinental Cup

On this day AC Milan won his first Intercontinental Cup. The Rossoneri were defeated in the second leg against Estudiantes (1-2, goals by Rivera 30', Conigliaro 43' and Aguirre-Suarez 44') but they won the Cup strong by the victory (3-0) in the first leg at San Siro.

22th October 2005: Luca Toni scored his last hat-trick in A

On this day at "Franchi" Stadum, ACF Fiorentina won 4-1 against Parma, with Luca Toni scoring a hat-trick, the second and last ever reached by the striker in his Serie A TIM career.
