1970: Cagliari wins the Scudetto

On 12th April 1970, by winning 2-0 against Bari at home Cagliari won the title for the first time in its history. The red-blue goals were scored by Riva in the 39th minute and Gori in the 88th minute and were enough to increase the Sardinian advantage to +5 over the Inter-Juventus duo, who were in second place (at the time the victory was still worth two points).
