1964: the Bologna-Inter play-off
On 7 June 1964, for the first and so far only time in the history of the single-round Serie A, the play-off for the Scudetto was played. Bologna and Inter competed for the title in Rome, with the Rossoblu winning 2-0. For the team from Bologna, this was the last of the seven Scudettos won in its history.
