1970: Italy-Germany 4-3
In the 1970 World Cup in Mexico, the Azzurri played one of the most epic matches in the history of the event, winning the semi-final against West Germany 4-3 after extra time. Boninsegna, Burgnich, Riva and Rivera scored for Italy.
