"Onward we go"- Kingsley Schindler celebrates victories over Chad and Madagascar

Turkey-based Ghana defender Kingsley Schindler has expressed delight after the Black Stars secured back-to-back wins in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the March international window.

The Samsuspor wing-back starred as the Black Stars enjoyed an impressive week, beating Chad 5-0 and Madagascar 3-0, to enhance their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Schindler lasted the entire duration in both games and looks to be Otto Addo's preferred choice for the right-back role.

Reacting to the wins, Schindler posted: "Back-to-back-wins. Onward we go."

Ghana climbed to the top of the table after six matches and have a healthy three-point advantage over Comoros Island, who they will face in Ghana in the next international break.

The Black Stars are chasing a fifth appearance at the World Cup after missing the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations following a disappoint run last year.

Meanwhile, Schindler return to Turkey to continue his career with Samsuspor.
