Opeele gets Ghana U17 assistant post

One of Ghana's highly-rated trainers Isaac Opeele Boateng has been appointed Ghana Under-17 assistant coach.

The former Asante Kotoko coach will work with Heart of Lions coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.

Opeele, who is known as the Mourinho of Ghana football, ended his one-year coaching exile last month.

He is a resident pundit on local radio station Asempa FM as well as a columnist for the Graphic Sports newspaper.

Opeel is a shareholder of First Capital FC, a newly formed third-tier side in Accra.

He previously worked at Mighty Jets, Sekondi Hasaacas and Kessben FC, Tema Youth and Tete Atenpong  United.
