Berekum Chelsea assistant coach Orlando Wellington has rubbished reports linking him with a move to AshantiGold.

Reports in local media claim the former Ghana Under-20 coach will join the Obuasi-based as second-in-command and take over if Croat Zdravko Lugarosic leaves at the end of the season.

It has been speculated that league winning coach is unhappy at the club after being demoted as assistant with the return of Steve Pollack

But Wellington has moved to deny at that claiming he is enjoying life at Berekum.

"I have not been contacted by anyone at AshGold. I'm still with Chelsea and I'm moving nowhere," he told Accra-based Oman FM.

Wellington was on the technical bench for Berekum-based who beat Medeama SC 1-0 to win the novelty GHALCA Glo G8 Cup on Sunday.
