Belgian Jupilar Pro League side KAA Gent have stolen a march of Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray to sign Ghanaian forward Osman Bukari.

Bukari was heavily linked with the two Turkish powerhouses in the ongoing transfer market following his exploits with Slovakian elite side AS Trencin last term.

However, the 21-year-old has chosen Belgian outfit Gent as his next destination by putting pen to paper on a deal on Friday.

The Ghana youth international joins the Buffaloes on a three-year contract after undergoing a successful medical examination on Thursday afternoon.

The transfer ends the intense rumours about his future on Thursday afternoon when he signed the deal with the UEFA Champions League campaigners.

The Ghana U23 international was named among the best players in the Slovak top-flight league last season after winning eight Man-of-the-Match awards in the league.

The winger, who can also play as a ghost striker, featured in 21 matches last season in Super Liga, playing a total of 1844 minutes.

Bukari scored an average of 0.34 goals for every 90 minutes he was on the pitch for Trencin.

He joined the Slovak top-flight side in 2018 from Division One side Accra Lions.
