Ghana coach Otto Addo has stated that the 'door is always opened' for English-born forwards Callum Hudson-Odoi and Eddie Nketiah to join the Black Stars.
Both players remain eligible to represent Ghana at senior level despite making a handful of appearances for the Three Lions of England.
Hudson-Odoi has not played for England in over three years while Nketiah featured in international friendlies last year but was omitted from the squad for the European Championship.
"The door is always opened. The first time I came here as coach for the game against Nigeria, I was after them but they said they needed time and they are still not here. It's just that to be honest, players who want to join the national team should come quite early to get familiar with me, with the team, the players and Ghana," he said at the presser for the announcement of his squad for the games against Angola and Niger.
"Before that I have their numbers, I call, I texted them but the are always welcomed," he added.
The Black Stars will host Angola on September 5 before facing Niger four days later.
