Oxlade-Chamberlain makes pop star girlfriend film him playing golf in the rain

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is making the most of the coronavirus lockdown by focusing on his golf game.

In normal circumstances, Oxade-Chamberlain would be preparing the Premier League run-in with Liverpool, but he, as everyone else, has had to find other activities to pass the time.

The 26-year-old, a keen golfer, decided on Tuesday to focus his efforts on his work around the green.

With a wedge in hand, Oxlade-Chamberlain spent time chipping balls into a net while girlfriend Perrie Edwards stood back and filmed the action on Instagram.

The Liverpool star offers his own unique commentary, making reference to the Masters, which this year has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, by adding: 'As the rain falls down here at Augusta.'

'Another one,' he says after landing another ball into a chipping net.

As heavy rain starts to fall, the midfielder chooses to stay outside and continue practicing.

'Hole 2: weather took a real turn,' he captioned the footage.

'You've got one more try and then I'm going inside... it's freezing,' adds girlfriend Edwards.

Much to her delight, Oxlade-Chamberlain makes the shot as Edwards adds: 'Wow, see that, put the pressure on him and he comes out fighting.'
