Ghana and Fulham defender John Pantsil will delight children of his home town of Agyumako Besiase on Friday when he hosts a tournament for school children.

He will donate jerseys and football to the schools in the community to enhance peace and also give an alternative means of recreation for the children.

The Black Stars ace will also give a peace message as part of the activities for his peace foundation called the Paintsil Peace Kid Project (PPKP).

The project will also continue to Tamale on Monday as he seeks to use his position as a respected global football star to spread peace among the youth.

Paintsil has embarked on a project to spread peace since his return from the World Cup and last week he was hailed in Brong Ahafo for a football tournament he hosted.

The Fulham star donated US$20,000 to the tournament which caused massive waves in the region.

Berlin FC won the competition and took home US$8,000 after beating Berekum Arsenals 4-1 on penalties with the losing finalists getting US$5,000.

The third and fourth placed team took home US$2,500 each.
