Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is adamant Franco Vazquez won't leave in January.
The attacker has been linked with Juventus.
Zamparini said, “Vazquez will definitely stay until June, then it depends on how we want to build Palermo for the next year.
“It's difficult to tie down players with chains who receive offers in the mercato of salaries three times higher than what they get here.
“The finances make the difference, but economic differences can be reduced by a great Coach. I'm thinking about Giampaolo's Empoli."
