Palermo vice-president happy to sell Vazquez to Fiorentina

Palermo vice-president Guglielmo Micciche revealed that he would have no issue with selling Franco Vazquez to Fiorentina.

The Sicilian side are ready to sell the Argentine-born Italy international after he helped keep them up following a turbulent Serie A campaign where relegation was only secured on the final day.

“Vazquez had an excellent season and if the right offer comes in then we would be willing to let him go,” said Micciche to Radio Blu.

“He would cost a lot because he is a very good player, he is one of the few proper no.10s in Italian football. It was said last season that whoever signed [Paulo] Dybala would be making the deal of their lives and I would say that again this year for Vazquez.”

The member of the Palermo leadership then discussed the possibility to the Viola considering the good relationship between the clubs.

“We have an excellent relationship, you just have to look at the sales of [Luca] Toni and [Josip] Ilicic, the door will be open to them if they are interested,” added Micciche.
