Pantsil keen on hard work to regain Fulham starting place

Fulham defender John Pantsil insists he is working hard to regain his place in the starting line-up of the Premier League side.

The right-back, who has been a key player for the club over the past two seasons, has been consigned to the bench of the English side over the past three weeks as coach Mark Hughes opted for Stephen Kelly.

Even when Kelly was ruled out with injury over the weekend, Hughes left the Ghanaian player on the bench.

Despite the frustrations, Pantsil insists only hard work will return him to the starting line of the Cottagers.

"It all depends on me and how hard I work. But I don't want to spend my time on Ghana duty discussing Fulham," Pantsil said.

He is the first choice right-back for Ghana and he is expected to start on Sunday when they face Sudan in a Nations Cup qualifier.
