Pappoe retains Ex.Co seat by landslide

Fred Pappoe polled majority votes to retain his seat on the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association on Thursday.

The Ghana FA vice-president garnered 41 out of the valid 48 to emerge outright first round winner.

George Afriyie of Unity FC came second with 36 votes while Tema Youth's Wilfred Kwaku Osei (Parma) came third with 32 votes.

Lawyer Kwaku Eyiah grabbed the last slot with 24 votes, one more than his closest rival Delali Senayi to complete first round victories for the quintet.
