English Championship side QPR will be without striker Patrick Agyemang for the vast majority of the remainder of the campaign after the forward suffered a stress fracture of the tibia.

The Ghana international is likely to be out for around four months, meaning he may struggle to return before the season comes to an end.

Agyemang joined QPR three years ago and made an immediate impact, scoring several key goals as they climbed clear of relegation danger in his first season.

However, he has struggled to repeat that run of goal scoring form and went to Bristol City on loan last season, before returning to Loftus Road in the summer.

He has made an impact off the bench this season, scoring the first goal in a late comeback which earned a point at Derby and hitting the post in the 1-0 defeat at Norwich on New Year's Day.
