Ghanaian defender Patrick Kpozo is delighted to have got off the mark for Ostersunds FK in the Swedish Allsvenskan in their 2-0 win over Kalmar FF at the Jämtkraft Arena.

The left back replaced Doug Bergqvist in the 87th minute and he found the back of the net on the 90th minute mark.

After just a minute on the pitch he provided the assist for Saman Ghoddos to score the opening goal.

Kpozo, 21, was making his fourth appearance for the Red and Black lads.

The former Inter Allies left-back could not hide joy after failing to lock down regular playing time.

"I got the chance and I think I took it," said Parick Kpozo, laughing.

"It feels so amazing at the moment that we have had to make their first Swedish goal!

"No, I've always given everything on training. I do not get around and sore. I have known that my chance will come one day. Today I had the opportunity for a few minutes and I think everyone saw how motivated I was when I came in. It went well, so you can say that I took the opportunity, says Patrick Kpozo, laughing.

Kpozo was asked how he will celebrate his debut goal in the Swedish league, he said, "I'll go down town with some of the players and eat. I hope we go to a place that has sushi. I think sushi fits well when celebrating its first goal.
