In England:

Netherlands:

As the half progressed and Sanchez started a move which saw Di Natale set up Kwadwo Asamoah, who could not find the target.

Asamoah saw full time action while Osasuna pursuit Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu replaced Antonio Di Natale on the 82nd minute.

Dominic Adiyiah's 49th minute strike was enough to separate Reggina and Grosseto in a Serie B duel.

Compatriot Yaw Asante played 82 minutes for Grosseto.

Spain:

Derek Boateng was conspicuously missing when Getafe beat Villarreal 1-0 at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Daniel Opare was cautioned on the 62nd minute for a rough tackle in Standard Liege's slim 1-0 victory over St. Truiden.

William Owusu Acheampong played the full 90 minutes in Cercle Brugges disgraceful 3-1 home loss to Zulte-Waregem.
