European football expert, Herbert Boakye Yiadom brings you a recap on the performances of Ghanaian players abroad for their respective clubs on Friday and Saturday.

There were lots of fantastic display from a host of Ghanaian players in abroad who featured on Friday and Saturday.

Jeffrey Schlupp is gradually cementing his place in Roy Hodgson's side after playing another full throttle in their draw with West Ham.

Thomas Partey will be missed by Atletico Madrid in their title dog-fight with Real Madrid and Barcelona as the influential midfielder was sent off in their 3-1 loss against rivals Real Madrid in the El Derbi.

Bernard Mensah showed his importance for Kayserispor once again. Mensah returned from suspension to manned the midfield as they pipped struggling Fenerbahce at home.

ENGLAND

Jeffrey Schlupp played full 90 minutes for Crystal Palace in their 1-1 draw against West Ham United, however his compatriot Jordan Ayew was unused substitute in the game.

Denis Odoi played 90 minutes for Fulham at home against Manchester United which they lost by 3-0.

Collin Quaner was once again left out of the Huddersfield squad that played against Arsenal on match day. His team lost 1-2 to the North London side.

In the Championship, Andy Yiadom lasted 90 minutes for Reading in their goalless draw with Sheffield Wednesday.

Albert Adomah was an unused substitute for Aston Villa as they rallied from 3 goals down to draw 3-3 with Sheffield United.

In League Two, Tarique Fosu played 90 minutes for Charlton Athletic in their 1-0 loss at home to Southend United.

Kwesi Appiah was substituted early in the game on the 18th minute as his team lost 0-2 to Burton Albion.

Hiram Boateng missed Exeter City 1-1 draw away to Carlisle United through injury.

Koby Arthur returned from injury to play 62 minutes for Macclesfield Town as they drew 3-3 Crewe Alexandra. Enock Andoh was left out of Macclesfield matchday squad.

SPAIN

Thomas Partey was sent off in the Madrid derby as his team Atletico Madrid lost to Real Madrid by 3-1 at the Estadio Metropolitano.

In the Segunda Division, Isaac Cofie missed Sporting Gijon 2-0 home defeat against Osasuna through injury.

ITALY

Afriyie Acquah featured for Empoli in their 1-0 defeat to Lazio. Acquah came off the bench in the 69th minute and picked a booking as well.

Kwadwo Asamoah was magnificent for Inter Milan in their 1-0 win at Parma.

In Serie B, Moses Odjer was left out of Salernitana matchday squad that lost 1-0 to Benevento Calcio, Bright Gyamfi was unused substitute for the winners.

Emmanuel Gyasi played 67th minutes for Spezia in their away victory against Cittadella.

FRANCE

In Ligue 2, Lawrence Ati-Zigi was in pole for Sochaux as they played goalless draw with Beziers.

John Boye lasted 90 minutes for FC Metz as they were pegged 1-1 at away by RC Lens. Boye picked up a yellow card in the game. Grejohn Kyei made a brief appearance for Lens.

Ebenezer Assifuah warmed the bench in Le Havre 1-1 draw game against US Orleans.

GERMANY

Kasim Nuhu missed TSG Hoffenheim 3-3 draw with Borussia Dortmund through injury.

Derrick Luckassen missed Hertha Berlin away win by 3-0 to Borussia Mochengladbach through injury.

Issah Abass was once again left out of FSV Mainz 05 matchday squad as they lost 5-1 to Bayern Leverkusen.

In the Bundesliga II, Joseph-Claude Gyau warmed the bench for Duisburg in their 1-0 defeat by SpVgg Greuther Furth. Hans Nunoo Sarpei was not included in the losers matchday squad. David Atanga saw 29 minutes of action for the losers.

Bernard Tekpetey played 90 minutes in SC Paderbon  07 away win at Bochum by 2-1. Tekpetey picked up a yellow card in the game. Christopher Antwi-Adjei played 12 minutes for Paderbon in the game.

In Bundesliga 3, Braydon Manu was not included in the matchday squad for Hallescher in their goalless draw with Kaiserslautern.

Bernard Kyere was introduced into the game in the 46th minute in Fortnua Koln’s 1-0 win over Zwickau.

Prince Owusu was sub off the game in the 67th minute in 1860 Munich 1-1 draw against Uerdingen.

Phil Ofosu-Ayeh was introduced in the 90th minute in Wurzburger Kickers 2-1 away win over Energie Cottbus. Kevin Weidlich missed the action for the losers through injury.

THE NETHERLANDS

Leeroy Owusu played 90 minutes for De Graafschap as they suffered to a 4-0 defeat by Feyenoord at away.

Jonathan Opoku missed VVV Venlo game against Willem II due to injury. His team won 2-1.

Myron Boadu missed AZ Alkmaar 0-3 away win over NAC Breda through injury.

In the Eerste Divisie, Rodney Antwi came off the bench to play in FC Voledam’s 1-1 draw against FC Den Bosch.

Asumah Abubakar warmed the bench for Maastricht in their 1-3 away win over Oss.

Kevin Luckassen was introduced into the game in Almere City 2-0 win over Jong AZ Alkmaar.

BAHRAIN

Joseph Adjei was magnificent for Malkiya FC despite their 1-2 defeat by Manama.

BELGIUM

William Acheampong was introduced in to the 61st minute as his team Royal Antwerp lost 2-1 to Lokeren. Daniel Opare was not named in the match day squad.

Bernard Kumordzi was an unused substitute for KV Kortrijk in their 0-1 win over KAS Eupen. Meanwhile, Eric Ocansey missed the action for the losers through injury.

Nana Ampomah Opoku played just 45 minutes for Waasland-Bereven as they loss 2-1 to Sint Truiden. Samuel Asamoah and Elton Acolatse enjoyed the entire duration for Sint Truiden

In the Proximus League, Kamal Sowah missed OH Leuven 2-1 away loss to KV Mechelen.

Divine Narh made a brief appearance for Tubize in their 1-0 defeat at Westerlo. Ernest Agyiri warmed the bench for the losers.

CROATIA

Obeng Regan played 90 minutes for Istra 1961 as they loss to giants Dynamo Zagreb by 1-0.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Emmanuel Antwi lasted full throttle for Pribram as they were walloped 4-0 at Slovan Liberec.

DENMARK

Emmanuel Oti Essigba was left out of Esbjerg FB matchday squad due to contractual issues. Essigba's team lost 2-0 against Aarhus.

Danny Amankwah made a 59 minute appearance for Sonderjyske in their 2-0 loss at Velje.

HUNGARY

Abraham Frimpong played 90 minutes for Ferencvaros in their 1-1 draw against Ujpest.

MALTA

Gabriel Mensah played the entire period of action for Pietar Hotspurs in their 2-1 away defeat by Senglea Athletics

PORTUGAL

Emmanuel Hackman was an unused substitute in Portimonense 1-0 loss to Rio Ave. Ahmed Said Ahmed was an unused substitute for the victors.

Alhassan Wakaso and Joseph Amoah played the entire duration for Vitoria Guimaraes in their 1-0 loss against Tondela. Henry Medarious missed the action for the losers due to injury.

In the Suganda Division, Kwame Nsor missed Academico Viseu 3-3 draw against Porto B through injury.

ROMANIA

Joseph Mensah was introduced into the game in the 61st minute in Sespi defeat by Dinamo Bucuresti.

SCOTLAND

Thomas Agyepong missed Hibernian FC 3-0 win over Raith Rovers through injury.

In the Championship, Abdul Osman played 90 minutes for Falkirk FC in their 1-2 away win over Alloa.

SOUTH AFRICA

Samuel Darpoh played 82 minutes for Amazulu in their 1-0 win against Cape Town City FC. Nana Bempah-Akorsah cameoed for the losers.

Richard Ofori played 90 minutes for Maritzburg United in their 3-1 win over Polokwane City.

SWITZERLAND

Majeed Ashimeru picked a booking but played the entire duration for St Gallen in their 1-1 draw with FC Basel. Musah Nuhu came on in the 53rd minute for St Gallen.

TURKEY

Bernard Mensah returned from suspension to play full throttle for Kayserispor in their 1-0 win over Fenerbahce. Andre Ayew played 82 minutes for the losers. Asamoah Gyan missed the action for the victors due to injury.

Joseph Attamah was introduced into the game in the 25th minute as Basakseshir were held to a draw at home by Erzurum.
