ENGLAND

In the Npower Championship, winger Albert Adomah registered his third goal of the season by scoring a 33rd minute consolation for Bristol City in their 3-2 defeat to Leeds United at the Ashton Gate Stadium.

Striker Jeffrey Schulpp was left out of the Leicester City 18-man squad for their trip to Middlesbrough which they won 2-1.

GERMANY

Ghana U20 star Baba Abdul Rahman played his second Bundesliga game for relegation-trapped Greuther Furth by coming off the bench in the 74th minute in their 2-0 loss at Bayer Leverkusen.

In the Bundesliga II, American-born Ghanaian Joseph-Claude Gyau warmed the bench for St Pauli who suffered a 3-0 defeat at Jahn Regensburg.
