Performance of Ghanaian players abroad wrap up: Asamoah continues league bench warming role for struggling Inter as Gakpo hogs headlines in Holland

European football specialist, Reuben Obodai brings you a comprehensive update on how Ghanaian players performed in abroad this weekend.

As the season progresses, Ghanaian football advocates would expect every Black Stars material to play regularly in order to be fit in time for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. Despite featuring 120 minutes in the Coppa Italia defeat against SS Lazio, Asamoah has seen his game time for Inter Milan in the league diminished after warming the bench in their last two league outings.

Ati-Zigi meanwhile recovered from last week's blunder to play a significant role in Sochaux win. It is surely a refreshing news for the technical handlers of the Ghana's senior national team to see their two top goalkeepers playing regular for their respective clubs.

Schlupp found joy in front of goal again as he turned in Michy Batshuayi's rebound into a gaping net to condemn Fulham to their 16th defeat of the campaign - It was the attacker's second goal against the Cottagers this term. Fulham became the first side in top-flight history to lose eight successive London derbies.
