Black Stars quintet of Andre Ayew, John Boye, Jeffrey Schlupp, Majeed Waris and David Accam all scored ahead of the international break while seven other players scored in different league games for their clubs. 

Midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah made an injury return Juventus as well as Inaki Williams for Athletic Bilbao.

Elsewhere Manchester City loanee Thomas Agyepong played his first game for FC Twente in the Netherlands.

Dominic Oduro, Dennis Antwi, Charles Boateng, Ernest Asante and Lloyd Sam all got on target while Ghana U20 sensation David Atanga scored a hat-trick for Liefering.

ENGLAND

Black Stars attacker Jordan Ayew came off the bench in the 59th minute to play for Aston Villa in their 1-0 home loss against Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Winger Christian Atsu failed to make the Bournemouth squad one more time as they drew 1-1 with Watford at the Vitality Stadium. There was no Bernard Mensah in the Watford squad for the game.

Utility wing-half Jeffrey Schlupp scored the match-winner for Leicester City in their 2-1 recovery away win over Norwich City at the Carrow Road Stadium. Youngster Joe Dodoo failed to make the Leicester City squad for the game.

Defender Baba Abdul Rahman was unused by Chelsea as he watched the entire game form the bench in their 3-1 amazing home loss against Southampton.

In the Championship, winger Albert Adomah came off the Middlesbrough bench to play the last 7 minutes in their 2-0 away loss against Reading. Youngster Tariqe Fosu could not make the Reading squad for the game.

Elsewhere former Liberty Professionals youth team player Koby Arthur failed to make the Birmingham City squad for their 2-0 away win against Leeds United.

Meanwhile leaders Brighton & Hove Albion drew 1-1 with Cardiff City at The American Express Community Stadium. Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Elvis Manu who joined Brighton from Feyenoord came off the Seagulls bench to play the last 8 minutes of the game.

Zak Ansah failed to make the Charlton Athletic squad for their 2-2 draw with Fulham on Sunday.

English-born Ghanaian youngster Andrew Osei-Bonsu remained with the MK Dons second string side when the first team drew 1-1 with Bristol City.

In the League One, Ghana U23 winger Enoch Ebo Andoh played full throttle for Port Vale at the Vale Park as they pipped Sheffield United 2-1.

Another English-born Ghanaian Kwame Thomas stepped out of the dug-out at the Bloomfield Road before 6,700 fans to play for Blackpool in their 1-0 win over Swindon Town.

In the League Two, Derek Asamoah was a full-timer for Carlisle Town in their 1-0 win over Stevenage. French-born Ghanaian Kevin Osei was not in their squad for the game.

Former Chelsea reserves team captain Nana Ofori-Twumasi warmed the Newport County bench when they drew 1-1 with Exeter City.

FRANCE

Striker Abdul Majeed Waris scored his third goal of the Ligue 1 season for Lorient in their 3-2 win over Bordeaux. He was replaced in the 74th minute.

Dennis Appiah excelled at right-back Caen who maintained their impressive start to the season with a 1-0 win over Saint Etienne.

French-born Ghanaian Grejohn Kyei made an injury return for Stade Reims by coming off the bench in the 53rd minute to play in their 1-0 away loss against Olympique Lyon.

Manchester City loanee Yaw Yeboah still failed to break into the Lille first team squad as he was not in their squad for their 2-0 win over Montpellier on Saturday.

Ghana U20 defender Emmanuel Ntim failed to make the Valenciennes squad when they lost 1-0 against Sochaux in the Ligue 2.

Suspended Jonathan Mensah watched his Evian TG side defeat Lens 2-1.

In the third-tier league, former Nania FC and Ghana U17 captain Charles Boateng scored in the 48th minutes for Avranches in their 4-1 win against Chateauroux.

Midfielder Joachim Adukor played for Beziers when they lost 1-0 against Sedan.

SPAIN

Celta de Vigo and Getafe shared the spoils in a pulsating 0-0 draw at the Estadio Balaídos before 18K fans. Atletico Madrid's Ghana international midfielder on-loan at Getafe Bernard Mensah watched the game from the bench.

Wakaso Mubarak played the entire match for Las Palmas and was booked in the first-half during their 2-0 home loss against Eibar.

Inaki Williams Dannis returned from injury to play for Athletic Bilbao in their 3-1 win against Valencia.

In the Segunda Division, Granada CF midfielder Fatau Mohammed could not make the Almeria squad for their 2-2 draw with Tenerife on Saturday.

Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Braimah manned the post for Cordoba in their 1-0 win over Athletic Bilbao B.

AUSTRIA

Midfielder Reinhold Yabo did not recover from injury to play for Red Bull Salzburg in their 2-1 win over Rapid Vienna.

Liefering claimed an impressive 5-1 win over Kapfenberg. Ghana U20 star David Atanga scored a sensational second-half hat-trick for Liefering while Raphael Dwamena assisted the first goal for Liefering. Ghana youth goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi manned the post for Liefering.

BELGIUM

KV Oostende sneaked past Lokeren with a handsome 2-0 win. Belgian-born Ghanaian Denis Odoi was booked in the 50th minute and played full throttle while former Liberty Professionals youngster Eugene Ansah lasted 80 minutes for them.

Defender Nana Akwasi Asare played in a 3-4-2-1 formation for KAA Gent in their 4-1 drubbing of Club Brugge on Sunday.

Midfielder Samuel Asamoah was unused by OH Leuven who shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Mouscron Peruwelz.

There was no Bennard Kumordzi in the KRC Genk side that thumped Standard Liege 3-1. Youngster Benjamin Tetteh was also absent from the Liege squad for the game.

Westerlo clash with Kortrijk at the Het Kuipje on Saturday. Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Mitch Apau played the entire match Westerlo but Asiedu Attobrah failed to make the Kortrijk squad for the game.

In the Second Division, Seraing Utd were held to a 0-0 draw FC Antwerp on Friday. Former Ghana U17 forward Kwame Nsor played 68 minutes for Seraing Utd while William Owusu Acheampong played the entire match for Antwerp.

Midfielder Charles Ankomah suffered an in an injury and was replaced by Lierse SK in their 4-2 away loss against RWS Bruxelles. Trio Emmanuel Annor, Yakubu Issahaku and Emmanuel Nyarko were all not in the Lierse squad for the game.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Former Ghana U20 and Tema Youth striker Francis Narh played 88 minutes for Banik Ostrava who managed a narrow 1-0 win over Sigma Olomouc. Midfielder Derrick Mensah was axed from the Ostrava squad for the game due to injury.

Isaac Sackey was out of the Slovan Liberec side when they won 3-1 against Bohemians. But Dutch-born Ghanaian Kevin Luckassen warmed the bench for Liberec.

GERMANY

In the Bundesliga, Hamburg SV manager Bruno Labaddia once again overlooked Ghanaian starlet Gideon Jung in his squad for their 3-0 away loss against Hertha Berlin.

Defender Daniel Opare returned to training but failed to make the Augsburg squad for their 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen who had Karim Bellarabi scoring their goal.

In the Bundesliga II, Ghanaian defender Davidson Drobo-Ampem failed to make the St Pauli squad for their 3-1 home loss against Sandhausen.

Ghanaian midfielder Manfred Osei-Kwadwo did not make the Kaiserslautern squad for their 3-0 win over Dusseldorf.

Ghanaian pair of Philemon Ofosu-Aryeh and Joseph Baffo played the entire match for Eintracht Braunschweig in their 2-1 win against Union Berlin.

In other games, midfielder Evans Owusu Nyarko played until he was replaced in the 82nd minute by Holstein Kiel who held Magdeburg to a 0-0 draw. Dennis Danso Weidlich was introduced in the 56th minute.

Still in the third-tier league, Ghanaian forward Prince Owusu played full throttle but failed to score for Stuttgart II when they held Osnabruck to a 1-1 draw.

Stuttgarter Kickers were subjected to a 4-0 humiliation by Sonnenhof GroBaspach at their own backyard. Ghanaian Erich Berko played 58 minutes for Kickers.

Ghanaian-born Canadian international Randy Edwini-Bonsu warmed the Aalen bench in their 3-1 home loss against PreuBen Munstera.

ITALY

New-boys worked for a 2-1 home win over Torino at the Stadio Alberto Braglia. Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie played the entire game for Carpi while Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah was introduced by Torino in the 60th minute.

Swedish international of Ghanaian descent Robin Quaison assisted the second consolation goal for Palermo in their 4-2 loss against AS Roma.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played the full 90 minutes for Udinese in their 1-1 draw with Genoa.

Kwadwo Asamoah finally returned to play bis first game of the season for Juventus as a second-half substitute in their 3-1 win over Bologna. Godfred Donsah was not in the Bologna squad for the game.

Raman Chibsah played the entire match for Frosinone in their 2-0 away loss at Lazio.

Midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan played 71 minutes for Sassuolo in their 1-0 loss against a ten-man Empoli side.

Elsewhere in the Serie B, Crotone consigned Salernitana to a 4-0 defeat. 2011 Ghana U20 midfielder Moses Odjer watched the entire game from the Salernitana bench.

Former Ghana U20 defender Bright Addae was brought on in the 73rd minute Ascoli who won 4-0 against Como. Former Inter Milan Primavera midfielder Isaac Ntow Tuah could not make the Como squad for the game.

In other games, both Kingsley Boateng and Isaac Donkor were unused by Bari when they defeated US Latina on Saturday. Ghanaian midfielder Nelson Atiagli failed to make the Latina squad for the game.

Youngster Prince Besea was not in the Modena squad for their 2-2 draw Brescia.

Ghanaian youngster Ransford Selasi played 17 minutes for Pescara in their 1-0 win over Cagliari.

In the fourth-tier league, midfielder Alimeyaw Salifu lasted the entire duration of the game Pro Patria in their 4-1 home loss against Pordenone.

Chievo Verona starlet Caleb Ekuban played 85 minutes for nine-man Renate when they lost 2-0 against Lumezzane.

Former Fiorentina midfielder Daniel Kofi Agyei played the entire match for Casertana and helped them to a 2-1 win over Juve Stabia.

NETHERLANDS

Striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom returned from suspension to play 83 minutes for Roda JC in their 1-1 draw with FC Cambuur. Dutch-born Ghanaian Edwin Gyasi also came off the bench to play for Roda.

German-born Ghanaian defender Marcel Appiah watched from the stands as his NEC Nijmegen posted a 4-1 win over ADO Den Haag. The lateral defender is nursing injury.

AZ Alkmaar hammered FC Twente 3-1. Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen played 84 minutes for Alkmaar while Manchester City loanee Thomas Agyepong played his first game for FC Twente by coming off the bench to play. Shadrach Eghan was unused by Twente.

Johann Kappelhof played in central defence for FC Groningen in their 5-0 battering at Vitesse Arnhem.

Youngster Rodney Antwi was axed from the FC Utrecht squad for their 1-0 loss at Excelsior Rotterdam on Saturday.

Raymond Gyasi played full throttle for ten-man Emmen who lost 4-0 against Almere City.

Elsewhere NAC Breda slipped to a 1-0 against VVV Venlo. Manchester City loanee Divine Naah played the entire match for Breda while Johnathan Opoku Agyemang also saw 90 minutes action.

Leeroy Owusu and Elton Acolatse were in full time action for Jong Ajax who posted a 1-0 win over Dordrecht.

POLAND

Ghanaian midfielder Aziz Tetteh was axed from the Lech Poznan squad as they travelled to defeat Jagiellonia 3-0 in the Polish Ekstraklasa.

Defender Frank Adu came off thePodbeskidzie bench in their 0-0 draw at Korona Kielce.

SOUTH AFRICA

Ghanaian pair of John Pantsil and Mohammed Anas were in action for Maritzburg United when they managed a slender 2-1 win over Jomo Cosmos in the League Cup on Friday.

TURKEY

Ghana defender John Boye scored his second goal of the season by heading home a 3rd minute opener for Sivasspor as they drew 2-2 with Mersin.

Black Stars defender Jerry Akaminko sat on the bench for Eskisehirspor when they lost 2-1 against Besiktas.

2011 Ghana U20 striker Kwame Karikari sat on the Balikesirspor bench in their 1-1 draw with Giresunspor on Sunday in the second-tier league.

Former Ghana U20 defender Joseph Attamah was booked in the 27th minute and played the entire game for Adana Demirspor in their 3-1 home loss against Kardemir Karabuk. Midfielder Moro Ibrahim was not in the Adana squad for the game.

USA

Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Poku came off the bench in the second-half to replace Frank Lampard when his New York City FC side lost 2-1 against DC United.

Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey manned the post for Portland Timbers in their 1-0 home reverse against Sporting KC.

David Accam inspired Chicago Fire to a comeback win against New England Revolution. His Ghanaian compatriot Patrick Nyarko also played full throttle for Fire as they ended their winless run with a 3-1 win at the Toyota Arena.

Dominic Oduro scored the consolation goal for Montreal Impact in their 2-1 away loss against Orlando City FC.

Gershon Koffie excelled in midfielder for Vancouver Whitecaps in their 1-1 draw with San Jose Earthquakes.

New York Red Bulls came from behind to snatch a 2-1 win against Columbus Crew. Ghana defender Harrison Afful assisted their goal while Lloyd Sam scored the leveller for Red Bulls.

GREECE

Ghana midfielder Michael Essien failed to recover from injury to play for Panathinaikos in their 1-0 win over Xanthi.

NORWAY

Ghana's Ernest Asante, Anthony Annan and Kamal Issah all played for IF Stabaek in their 4-1 triumph over relegation-bound Mjøndalen. Asante scored his 9th goal of the season.

Both Mohammed Abu and Bismark Adjei-Boateng were in action for Stromsgodset when they posted a heavy 6-1 win over Sarpsborg 08 on Saturday.

In the second-tier league, former Hearts of Oak forward Mahatma Otoo played the entire 90 minutes for Sogndal IF in their 1-1 draw at Asane.

Youngster Dennis Antwi scored for Jerv in their 2-1 win at FK Bryne. Former Ghana U17 captain Paul Addo played the entire match for Bryne.

PORTUGAL

Rio Ave cushioned their campaign with a slim 1-0 win over Boavista. Midfielder Alhassan Wakaso lasted 75 minutes for Rio but Samuel Inkoom failed to make the grades for the Boavista squad.

Pacos Ferreira claimed a 3-1 win against Nacional. Ghana U20 forward Osei Barnes warmed the bench for the victors.

Emmanuel Boateng and Ernest Ohemeng both played for Moreirense in their 1-1 draw with Tondela on Saturday.

In the second-tier league, winger Ishmael Yartey played the entire match for Gil Vicente in their 2-1 away loss at Leixoes.

On-loan FC Porto defender Lumor Agbenyenu watched from the bench as his Portimonense side won 3-2 against Sporting Braga II. Youngster Emmanuel Oti failed to make the Sporting Braga II squad for the game.

ROMANIA

Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muniru played the last three minutes of regulation time for Steuau Bucuresti in their 2-1 away win against CSMS Iasi.

RUSSIA

Midfielder Rabiu Mohammed played in central midfield for Kuban Krasnodar in their 1-1 draw with Anzhi in the Russian top-flight.

Emmanuel Frimpong was sent off in FK Ufa's 1-1 draw with FK Krasnodar.

SCOTLAND

Prince Buaben played in central midfield for Heart of Midlothian in their 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock on Saturday.

Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Osman captained Partick Thistle to a 3-0 victory over Dundee United.

SWITZERLAND

Ebenezer Assifuah played 59 minutes for FC Sion in their 1-1 draw with St Gallen on Sunday afternoon.

Elsewhere former Hearts of Oak attacker Samuel Afum played the last 5 minutes for Young Boys Bern in their 3-1 win against Grasshoppers.

SERBIA

Midfielder Michael Tawiah was not in the Borac team that won 3-2 against Rad Beograd on Saturday.

Former Sogakope Red Bulls midfielder Samuel Owusu played the entire match for Surdulica in their 0-0 draw with Mladost.

SWEDEN

Orebro claimed a 2-1 win over Falkenbergs. Defender Sam Mensah was not in the Orebro squad for the game but Godsway Donyoh played the entire match for Falkenbergs while Enock Kwakwa was not in their squad.

Kwame Bonsu was not in the Gefle IF side lost 2-1 at Sundsvall on Saturday.

AIK Solna sneaked post ten-man Malmo FF 2-1. Former Inter Allies defender Patrick Kpozo warmed the bench for AIK but defender Ebenezer Ofori was not in the team for the game. Enock Adu Kofi was not in the Malmo squad for the game.

Both Nasiru Mohammed and Mohammed Abubakari played for BK Hacken in their 3-1 loss at Norrkoping.

On-loan Inter Allies captain Joseph Aidoo failed to make the Hammarby squad for their 3-0 win over Atvidabergs.

Goteborg IF and Halmstad BK shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw. Neither Prosper Kassim and Lawson Sabah was in the Goteborg squad for the game.

Ema Boateng was a second-half substitute for Helsingborg IF in their 2-1 win against Elfsborg in the Allsvenskan.

FINLAND

HJK posted a 2-1 win over VPS. Ghana new-boy Gideon Baah played the entire match for HJK.

Seth Paintsil was not in the Jaro squad for their 2-0 loss against KuPS.

KAZAKHSTAN

Striker Patrick Twumasi played 69 minutes for Astana as they defeated Atyrau 1-0.

CYPRUS

Former Manchester City defender Razak Nuhu played the entire minutes of the game for Anorthosis Famagusta in their 2-2 draw with Ayia Napa.

Both Carlos Ohene and John Arwuah were unused by AEL Limassol in their 1-0 home loss against AEK Larnaca.

DENMARK

Daniel Amartey played in central defence for FC Copenhagen in their 1-0 win over Viborg.

Danish-born Kevin Mensah played 42 minutes for Esbjerg in their 1-1 away draw with Brondby.

FC Midtjylland managed a 2-0 win over Aarhus. Former Black Stars defender Francis Dickoh sat on the bench for Midtjylland.

AFRICA

Ghanaian quintet of Solomon Asante, Yaw Frimpong, Gladson Awako, Daniel Nii Adjei and Richard Kissi-Boateng helped TP Mazempe to reach the final of the CAF Champions League following a heavy win over Sudanese side Al-Merreikh. Asante, Adjei and Frimpong all started the game.
