England:

Arsenal laboured to a 1-0 victory over newcomers Swansea City at the Emirates Stadium.

New Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong returned from suspension to play 75 minutes for Arsene Wenger's side.

In the Npower Championship, Lloyd Sam was introduced in the 75th as Leeds United came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 3-2 at the Elland Road.

Attacking midfielder Albert Adomah played the entire match for Bristol City which slipped to a 1-0 loss at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion.

Prince Abankwah Buaben failed to break into the Watford first team squad that silenced Reading 2-0 in an away fixture.

Full-back John Pantsil helped Leicester City pick a vital point at Barnsley in a 1-1 draw.

Spain

Jeffery Sarpong was left out of the Real Sociedad first team squad that fought gallantly to draw 2-2 with Barcelona.

Mubarak Wakaso watched the entire from the bench when his Villarreal side drew 2-2 with Sevilla in a match of  equals.

Italy:

On Friday,  Kevin-Prince Boateng picked an injury in AC Milan's lackluster 2-2 draw against Lazio at the San Siro.

In the Serie B, striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom played the entire match for Sassuolo which moved to third place after beating Cittadella 2-0 at the Stadio Alberto Braglia in Modena.

Striker Yaw Asante was not involved in action for Grosseto which fought to win 2-1 against Verona at the Stadio Olimpico Carlo Zecchini.

In the Italian youth league, Ghanaian quartet of Daniel Kofi Agyei, Amidu Salifu, Nortey Ashong and Maxwell Acosty were all involved in action for Fiorentina's Primavera side which beat Juventus 1-0 at home.

Midfielder Alfred Duncan helped  Inter Milan's Primevera to record a 4-1 win over Cittadella.

Germany:

Centre-back Isaac Vorsah was rock solid at the back for TSG Hoffenheim which thrashed Mainz 05 4-0 at the Coface Arena.

In the Bundesliga II, winger Mohammed Lartey played full throttle for Hansa Rostock which shared the spoils with Eintracht Braunschweig in a 0-0 draw.

In the Liga III, Marcel Appiah lasted the entire duration while Eric Agyemang played 76 minutes for Arminia Bielefeld which fired blank in a 0-0 draw with Rot-Weiss Erfurt.

Denis Danso-Weidlich and Phil Ofosu-Ayeh were also involved in action for Rot-Weiss.

Holland:

Schalke 04 loanee Anthony Annan debuted for Vitesse Arnhem which lost 4-0 to AZ Alkmaar within the first 45 minutes.

Midfielder Kwame Quansah played in midfield for Heracles Almelo which lost 2-3 to ten-man Ajax Amsterdam at their own backyard.

In the Dutch second-tier league, Mitch Apau played full throttle for Veendam which secured a 2-2 draw at Go Ahead Eagles.

Compatriot Jonathan Opoku was replaced on 89 minutes for Veendam.

Kevin Tano replaced Mayele in the 70th minute as his side Dordrecht drew 3-3 with MVV at the home.

France:

Striker Jordan Ayew started the match for a misfiring Olympique Marseille side which slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Stade Rennes.

John Boye warmed the bench for Rennes.

Ghana captain John Mensah is yet to return from injury for table-toppers Olympique Lyon which defeated Dijon 2-1 at the Stade Gaston Gérard.

Evian Thonon Gaillard battled to a goalless draw away at the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas  against Bordeaux .

Rabiu Mohammed was introduced after 70 minutes while Jonathan Mensah continued to warm the bench for Evian.

On Friday, Haminu Dramani played the full 90 minutes for Arles Avignon which used nine men to draw 1-1 at Boulogne.

Defender Dennis Appiah was at the heart of defence for Monaco which suffered a 3-1 loss at home to Angers.

Midfielder Moussa Narry maintained his place in the Le Mans starting line up as they drew 1-1 with Nantes.

Sweden:

On Friday young striker Abdul Majeed Waris scored a world class finish to help Hacken draw 1-1 with leaders Helsingborg.

James Frempong played the full 90 minutes for Norrkoping which drew goalless with Mjallby in an away fixture.

Norway:

Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey kept the post for Stromsgodset which fought from behind to draw 2-2 with Viking.

Manchester City loanee Abdul Razak Nuhu played the last seven minutes but Mohammed Abu was suspended.

King Osei Gyan also played the entire match for Viking.

Greece:

On loan FC Porto left-back David Nii Addy played 85 minutes for newcomers Panaitolikos which suffered a 1-0 reverse at the hands of Panionios in their opening game of the season.

Midfielder Benard Kumordzi was also in action for Panionios.

Switzerland:

Midfielder Ishmael Yartey played the full regulation time for Servette FC which recorded yet their heaviest defeat of the season losing 4-0 to visiting FC Basel.

Serbia:

Defender Lee Addy was in full flight action for Red Star Belgrade which brushed aside BSK Borca 2-0 on home grounds.

Turkey:

Defender Jerry Akaminko sat on the bench for ten-man Manisaspor which drew 1-1 with Trabzonspor on home grounds.

Former Berekum Chelsea striker Bismark Idan replaced Aydin Karabulut on the 45th minute when his Goztepe lost 2-1 at Denizlispor at the Denizli Atatürk Stadyumu.

Former Hearts of Oak wunderkind Torric Jibril lasted 70 minutes for Bucaspor which drew one-all with Kayeris on home soil.

Ukraine:

Ghana youth winger Abeiku Quansah sat out of Arsenal Kiev's 0-0 draw at Metalist due to illness.

Belgium:

Versatile defender Daniel Opare lasted the entire period for Standard Liege which moved to second after beating Westerlo 1-0 at home.

William Owusu-Acheampong missed out of the Westerlo first team squad.

Striker Patrick Amoah was introduced on 85 minutes for Leuven which beat Mons 3-1 at their favourite Stadion 'Den Dreef'.

Rahim Ayew was a full timer for Lierse BK in their 1-1 draw with Lokeren.
