ITALY

Young striker Amidu Salifu was introduced by Fiorentina on the 52nd minute.

Afriyie Acquah played 68 minutes of Palermo's 1-0 home loss to Cesena.

Udinese reclaimed top spot beating Chievo Verona 2-1 at the Stadio Friuli.

On Thursday striker Prince Tagoe played six minutes for Bursaspor who held Ankaragucu to a 0-0 stalemate.
