Performances of young Ghanaian footballers in Italy; Ebenezer Annan scores high marks

Games in the Primavera 2 division has come to a close but there are three more matches to play in the Primavera 1 championship with Gyan, Annan and Gyabuua all playing a part last weekend.

Here are the performances of young Ghanaian footballers in Italy's Youth division.

Ebenezer Annan was the most prominent p performaner for strugglers Bologna who lost 4-1 to Torino at home. Annan has the highest score card amongst his playing mates.

Rating 7: sumptuous performance, moves away balls, saves the team on numerous occasions and blocks anyone who shows up in his part, today he really limited the damage as much as possible

Felix Afena-Gyan was restored to his starting position on Sunday as Roma hosted second place Sampdoria in Primavera 1. Gyan was replaced in the 70th minute with the home side playing out a 2-2 scoreline.

Rating 6: He sacrifices a lot for his teammates and shows up a lot in the offensive phase by hitting a wood at the beginning of the second half.

Midfield lynchpin Emmanuel Manu Gyabuaa gave the assist for Atalanta's equaliser in their 2-1 win on the road to Spal. Gyabuua has five assists to his credit this season. He played 90mins

Rating 6: plays a good game, a lot of defensive work especially in the second half to try to stop Seck.

Salim Abubakar was in action for Sassuolo in the U18 championship when the Neroverdi welcome Parma to the Mapei park. Sassuolo lost by 2-1. Abubakar played 65 minutes.

In the U 17 division Justin Kumi was part of Sassuolo's selected 11 that locked horns against Parma at home. Sassuolo won by 2-1. The attacking midfielder lasted the whole 90mins.

Daniels Fosu Kwakye played 40 minutes for Castlefranco away to Savignanese in the lower division of the pyramid. The visitors lost by 4-1.
