Football Legend Carlos Valderrama Makes Pedri Demand Following World Cup Debut
Pedri was a key part of the Spanish team that beat Costa Rica 7-0 on their opening game.
The 19-year-old broke into the Spanish National Team after gaining a spot on the Barcelona first eleven. Priding as the current Golden Boy, Pedri has seen Football Legend Carlos Valderrama speak so high of him.
Speaking of the youngster’s performance, Valderrama who featured for 12 club sides before he finally retired in 2002 said;
“I would like Pedri to be sent to me for a few days so that he can teach me how to play football. He’s a show. He plays a lot for his age.”
Valderrama is the second-most capped player in Colombia National Team history after netting 11 times in 111 matches.
Spain will take on Germany on their next encounter as they eye to finish at the top of the Group E
