Jordan Ayew makes admission on his playing position following hat-trick
Ghana national team faced Central African Republic in World Cup Qualifiers and celebrated a 4-2 victory.
Jordan Ayew scored a hat-trick for the Black Stars as they celebrated a victory.
Following the game, Ayew spoke out on his position for the national team.
He said: “I’ve been playing out of position for quite some time in the national team and also at the club level. But I have always done my duty, put my country first, and never complained because I always give my all.
“It’s difficult. It’s not something that I like to talk about, but, my favourite position, right from the academy, in France, in the national team, has always been as a number 9.
“I have qualities that allow me to play in pockets of space, and I don’t complain.”
