Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid Prediction
We predict Bayern Munich 2-2 Real Madrid. Bayern Munich may have struggled in their domestic league this season, but they haven’t done badly in the Champions League this year. They eliminated Arsenal from the UCL, and will want to dare to repeat the same against Real. The Whites have also done well all round this season so far, but the last time they played in Germany, they were held to a 1-1 draw against RB Leipzig, and it was widely agreed that the La Liga outfits were lucky to return to Spain with a draw. We think the same can repeat in Munich.
There’s a chance both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will score at least one goal each. Both teams scored in three of their last five encounters in the Champions League, and it is highly likely that this encounter could end similarly.
Match Preview: Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid
Bayern Munich head into this encounter in high spirits, following their tight 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt over the weekend. They reached the last four of the UCL after they knocked out Arsenal, who are pushing for the Premier League title, in the quarter final with a 3-2 win on aggregate.
Real Madrid are also in similar spirits, following back to back wins over Barcelona and Real Sociedad. The Whites sit the top of the La Liga table with 11 points clear of Barcelona. They eliminated Manchester City from the UCL on penalties in the quarter final, after the draw ended in a 4-4 draw across both legs.
Predicted Starting Lineups
Bayern Munich: Neuer, Kimmich, de Ligt, Dier, Mazraoui, Laimer, Goretzka, Müller, Musiala, Guerreiro, Kane
Real Madrid: Lunin, Carvajal, Eder, Rudiger, Mendy, Kroos, Valverde, Modric, Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo
