Netherlands vs England prediction
We predict England to win 2-1. The Netherlands will have to defeat England in the Semi-finals to advance to the next stage of the competition. Despite eliminating Turkiye in a 2-1 victory at the Quarter Finals, it will be a very tight game against England as they are yet to record a defeat at the Euros. However, we predict England to win as they remain favorites.
England struggled in their 2-1 win over Slovakia as they were forced into extra time with Harry Kane scoring the winning goal. Gareth Southgate’s side won over Switzerland in a difficult game that ended in a penalty shootout (5-3). Nevertheless, they need to win their next match against the Netherlands to go through. We predict both sides to score at least one goal each.
Match Preview: Netherlands vs England
The Netherlands have scored five goals in their last two games, conceding only one goal in their 2-1 win against Turkiye at the Quarterfinals. The Dutchmen have impressed at the tournament, having scored at least two goals in their three games. It will be a tricky game as both sides have impressed following their back-to-back victories. Notwithstanding, they are likely to succumb to The Englishmen.
England has not registered a defeat since the tournament started, having won three of their last five games. The Englishmen knocked out Switzerland in a penalty shootout at the Quarterfinals as Manuel Akanji failed to score from the spot. However, Jude Bellingham’s dream of winning the Ballon d’Or is one step closer as Uruguay eliminated Brazil from the Copa America in a penalty shoot-out.
Predicted Starting Lineups
