Philip Yeboah on target for Hellas Verona in a 1-1 draw against Udinese

Philip Yeboah was on target for Hellas Verona when they hosted Udinese at home in the Primavera 2 league division.

The 17 old striker gave Hellas Verona the lead in the 53rd minute after heading in a close range cross from teammate Fabio Corradini.

Hellas Verona had earlier missed an opportunity to go ahead after missing a penalty kick in the first half just before half time.

Philip’s goal was however not enough to ensure victory as Udinese equalized in the 81st minute. Yeboah, who is deployed on the wings, has an offensive contribution of five goals and four assists this season since moving to the Primavera side this season.

The Yellow and Blues maintain a play-off spot in fourth position with 33 points from 18 games. Brescia is their next opponent.

Philip and Hellas Verona have a chance of winning a silver this season after qualifying for the finals of the Primavera Coppa Italia.
