PHOTOS: Asante Kotoko hold first training in Mauritania ahead of FC Nouadhibou clash

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko held their first training session in Mauritania ahead of their 2020/21 CAF Champions League preliminary round game against FC Nouadhibou.

Kotoko touched down in the capital city of Mauritania, Nouakchott, on Wednesday for the first leg encounter.

The Porcupine Warriors were warmly welcomed by officials of FC Nouadhibou before heading straight to their hotel base.

The club held their maiden training session on the Stade Olympique Complex Astro-turf on Thursday ahead of the match.

Maxwell Konadu and charges will converge again at the stadium for their second training on Friday.

The match is scheduled to come off on Sunday, November 29, with the reverse fixture coming on in Accra next week.

The winner of this game will face either Sudanese side Al Hilal Club or Ugandan outfit Vipers SC.
