Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi meets Asante, Awako, Boateng

Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nynatakyi could not hide his delight after watching Daniel Nii Adjei score with a wonder striker to help TP Mazembe win the CAF Super Cup at the expense of Etoile de Tunis.

The 27-year-old, the only Ghanaian player among the quintet in the Ravens squad for the game, steered a venomous header from a Jean Kasusula cross on the 20th minute mark before he finished off a fine move initiated by Congolese Jonathan Bolingi.

Fast paced winger Solomon Asante was left out of the team as he battles his way out of the club but still met Mr Nyantakyi who showed his delight after the game.

Asante has been a key member of the Mazembe set-up since he joined in 2013  but finds himself in a fix after seeing several offers for him being turned down.

Gladson Awako, Kissi Boateng and Yaw Frimpong who all play a key role for the ravens were also conspicuous missing from the game on Saturday.

But Nyantakyi who is an ardent follower of the Africa game knows the contributions of these players and gave them a special treat at the Grand Karavia hotel in Lubumbashi on Sunday morning.
