The Black Stars of Ghana were held to a goalless draw by the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire in an international friendly at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Coach Akonnor was hoping to bounce back from last Tuesday’s defeat against Morocco in Rabat.

The Ghana coach named a strong starting line up with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey retaining to the squad after missing the game against Morocco.
