Ghanaian forward Caleb Ansah Ekuban has joined Turkish Spor Toto League side Trabzonspor on a season-long loan deal from Leeds United in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Ekuban emerged as a prime target for Trabzonspor after he was frozen out of English Championship side Leeds United squad by manager Marcelo Bielsa.
The 24-year-old joins the Black sea storm after penning a season-long loan deal on Wednesday.
Ekuban has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2017 when he moved from Chievo in Italy.
The Italian-born Ghanaian struggled to make an impact at Elland Road so far and is not guaranteed a place in the Whites’ starting lineup.
Ekuban started 12 matches and made eight substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season, scoring one goal in the process.
