Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have donated assorted items and cash to the family of the late Shamo Quaye.

The late Quaye died late in the night on Wednesday August 19, after been hit by a car while on his way to a football match viewing center to watch the UCL clash between Bayern Munich and Olympique Lyonnais.

He was pronounced dead after he was rushed to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi.

A delegation from the Phobians led by the CEO, Mr Frederick Moore visited the bereaved family Kumasi.

The late Shomo Quaye was a popular Hearts fan whose game promotional antics were unmatched.

He injected a sheer sense of humour mixed with his eloquent delivery blended with self-coined adages and proverbs.

He mostly engaged in radio and TV banter with rival fans which whetted the appetite on audience; in effect drawing multitudes to the stadium.
