Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena resumed training today after a long break due to a heart problem.

The 24-year-old was ruled out of action indefinitely after being diagnosed with a pulmonary condition last year October.

The condition causes an irregular and fast heart rate and can result in dizziness, shortness of breath and tiredness.

Raphael Dwamena underwent a successful operation earlier this year which was conducted at the medical team of the Arrhythmias Unit of the health center, was coordinated by Dr. Asso.

Dwamena seems to have won the battle against the disease and is ready to return to the pitch soon.

Dwamena has a €800,000 annual contract with UD Levante which will expire in 2022.

 

 

It is the second major health scare that Dwamena has suffered in his professional career.
