Asante Kotoko team led by Executive Chairman Dr. K.K Sarpong visits injured Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy in Accra.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper broke his finger during Hearts' 2-1 loss to the Porcupine Warriors in the big Ghanaian derby last weekend in Kumasi.

The team thus made cash donations and was presented with a signed 'get-well-soon' card as a sign of solidarity.

Below are pictures of Kotoko's visit:

  • Francis Obeng- Kumasi.

That is absolute folly. Who has asked them to do that? Fellow great and wonderful phobians don't be swayed by this kotoko's mischief and hypocrisy. You detain our millenium captain Jacob Nettey and take him through torture and severe molestations and you claim we are friends? We the true phobians here in Kumasi distant ourselves from such blatant mischief. You laugh plainly to us and your hearts are filled with criminality. Eventhough football is meant to unite, i don't think Hearts are ready to unite with primitive kotoko in such a weird manner. What can that shit 400 cedis do to McCarthy? We have seen your bad ideology attached to that so called visit. Hearts of Oak is more smarter than you kotoko. That visit is abhored by all well meaning phobians. Had kotoko lost the encounter would they have paid McCarthy a visit? Shame to you and your visionless Kk Sarpong. Go and pay your debts rather!!!

Francis or who ever you call yourself. As a fellow phobian fun, I think your comment is un-called for and very bad. Football is not war. Football is meant to unite us. I hate people like you who seem to always give comments which divide a country. Please, learn to be a good fun and speak progressively. We are all not happy with our loss to kotoko but as true football funs, we must learn to accept unfavourable results. The current players and football administrators are learning to support each other. As funs, we must also learn to co-exist and support each other.

Dont mind him. It's a case of sour grapes for him. These are the people that should be taking interest in games like ampe or any other game for that matter. But certainly, not futbol. NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

To be sincere, kotoko has done well n every premiership team must emulate their good example. Phobian,we must emulate this! When gideon baah broke his leg in the same encounter some two seasons ago,i never read anything abt phobians visiting him but inatead if they have done that to our player with a cheerful heart, then they deserve some praise. Kudos to KK Sarpong n his team. All the same,PHOOOOOBIA! MASTERS..........!

What a wise and perfect comment by my fellow wonderful phobian. Kotoko can't use that unnecessary visit to deceive us. Why didn't you pay a visit to Nana Oduro Sarfo when out of stupidity some fabu fans attacked him and was hospitalised? Give us a break and concentrate on how to pay the huge debts.

there are 10 regions in Ghana. so by your comment, 9 are otherwise? such tribalistic comments are very unwelcome. FYI the comon sense reqion was made what it is by the NTE (northerners).....where did the so called common sense region go for TALL men to become royalties in the COMMON SENSE region because most of their men were too short? Becareful ! If you live in a glass house, you dont throw stones

As a true phobian, my candid opinion about the kotoko's visit to the champion goalie was senseless. But who told them he needs their visit? Hahahahaha! The kotokos are really concert party comedians. Amiable buffooneries. The amount donated to McCarthy is a cursed money which must be used for the orphanage. Stupidity at the highest level

All those guyz here criticizing the good sense of cordial frendship here are just practising futbal politiks. give us a break, cant u guyz jx sit down 4 a second and think futbal is now on new levels. thatz y diz lokal premiership is not interesting at all in my eyes. we should learn from the white footbal.jx look at the sympathy all soccer fans showed to fabrice muamba, and recently dis italian player who fell down and died.STOP FUTBAL POLITICKS
