Ghana’s Black Galaxies have arrived home after eliminating Nigeria from the 2023 Africa Nations Championship qualifiers.
Ghana defeated Nigeria on penalties 5-4 to book a place in the CHAN tournament next year to be staged in Algeria.
The CHAN Eagles of Nigeria were hoping to stage a comeback as they equalized on aggregate 2-2 but missed out on the penalty shootout.
Ghana returns to the competition after missing out on the last three editions.
