Juve want to extend their excellent run of form. After a solid start of 2021, the team is now targeting the Italian Cup, which kicks off tomorrow against Genoa. On the eve of the match at the Allianz Stadium, Coach Andrea Pirlo previewed the fixture while talking to Juventus TV: "It will be an important match. The Italian Cup begins, we know that when the competition comes to life, everyone likes to play it and to get to the bottom you have to win tomorrow night's game."
A DIFFERENT GENOA
"Compared to when we faced them in the league, Genoa has changed in aggression. They have a lot of energy, so it will be a hard-fought and difficult game to play. Overall, I think it will be a match similar to that of the Marassi, they will come to defend themselves well and to try breakaway on the counterattack. We have studied them and we have prepared for the game as best we can."
