Jose Martinez Sanchez, known footballistically as Pirri, is confident that his former club Real Madrid can push on and win the 2019/20 LaLiga Santander title.
For Pirri, the key is that Los Blancos have a squad that is deep enough to cope with playing every few days.
"Playing so many games in a row benefits Real Madrid because I think they have a better squad than Barcelona," he told Radio MARCA.
"This is like starting a new season and Real Madrid have a really good and deep squad, a better one than Barcelona."
