Egyptian giants Al Ahly have named Pitso Mosimane as a new manager to become the first Black African to lead the Red Devils

The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach will succeed Rene Weiler after agreeing a two-year contract.

He is expected in Cairo on Friday to start work

The 2016 CAF Coach of the Year wants assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena, fitness trainer Kabelo Rangoaga and performance analyst Musi Matlaba to follow him to Cairo.

Mosimane won five South African Premier Soccer League titles with Sundowns and the coveted CAF Champions League in 2016.
