Pjanic: Consistency the key for Roma

Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic is pleased with how his team have recovered from their recent dip in form after beating Frosinone.

The Giallorossi claimed a 3-1 win over the Canarini on Saturday night which was their first victory of the calendar year, after having picked up just three points since December 20.

“We are feeling good, we worked well and we will continue to do so,” Pjanic told Sky Sport Italia after the match.

“The coach says that he is pleased with us, the team played well and we deserved to win.

“We could have scored more, but overall the team has done very well given the poor recent results.”

The victory means Roma close the gap between them and fourth place for now in the Serie A table to just three points, but Pjanic says they need more continuity in their results to get anywhere near the top.

“We have to put a good run of form, this cant be a one off,” Pjanic concluded.

Roma take on Sassuolo in mid-week in their next Serie A game.
