Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has revealed that playing for the national team has been a lifelong dream, one that he's honored to fulfill every time he gets called up.
"It's been a dream of mine from a young age, so anytime I get called up is an honour," Semenyo said.
The Bournemouth star has made 27 appearances for the Black Stars and recently scored in Ghana's 5-0 win over Chad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Semenyo considers it a privilege to play for Ghana and says he always tries to make himself available for selection, except when injured.
Semenyo's commitment to the national team is admirable, and his goal-scoring form has been a boost to the Black Stars. With his experience and skill, he will be a key player for Ghana in their future matches.
Semenyo will look to continue his goal-scoring form when club football resumes this weekend, with Bournemouth facing Manchester City in the FA Cup.
