PLB boss Abrah Appiah laughs off reports claiming Ghana Football is in a mess

Premier League Board Chairman Welbeck Abrah-Appiah has laughed claims that Ghana football is in a mess, stating that the world’s most popular sports is flourishing very well in the country.

The Ghana Football Association for the past years have come under severe criticism for over-concentration on the national teams, especially the Black Stars, neglecting the local league.

Despite those assertions, the outgoing PLB Boss who have been asked by the Ghana Football Association to stay put until further notice has confidently stated that Ghana football is in delivering.

“Ghana football is in delivering at the same time is in a learning process, said PLB boss Abrah-Appiah.

“We are at a stage that everybody must understand. The game will surely not be on top suddenly but it will take some time. We started from somewhere but we shall surely match the developed countries soon.”

The long-serving football administrator has been at the PLB for close to ten years and insists that the game is not messy as many critics make it appear.
