Please forgive Patrick Allotey- Kotoko defender Christopher Nettey

Asante Kotoko defender, Christopher Nettey has apologized to Ghanaians on behalf of his friend Patrick Allotey who is currently facing the law after assaulting a fan in a Ghana Premier League game.

Allotey a boxer by profession assaulted Michael Siaw a Kotoko fan during the Super Two clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Christopher Nettey who is a close pal of Patrick Allotey confirmed in an interview that the boxer came to the stadium to support him and his team.

He apologized to Ghanaians who behalf on his friend for the assault which has led him to being suspended by the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) and currently facing the law where he has been handed a bail of GHC 100,000 with three surities and his passport seized.

“It is because of me that Patrick Allotey came to the stadium to watch the game", he told Happy FM.

“I will apologise to anybody who was affected in this incident”, he ended.
