Hans Van der Plyum has launched an astonishing attack on Heart of Lions accusing officials of drafting a wrong transfer policy for the club.
GHANAsoccernet.com broke the news of the departure of the Dutchman from the Kpando-based club on Monday.
The club were stunned with the decision of the coach to quit with 19 days left for the commencement of the new Premier League campaign.
He insists the club did little to enhance their chances in the top-flight by refusing to but top-notch players.
"We didn't have quality players and they didn't do anything about it. So what do u expects a coach to do in such a situation'' Plyum said.
"Look I did nothing wrong and if they go around to accuse me of anything, that will be very unfortunate and I won't take it lightly at all.
"Every coach wants the best and they didn’t do enough for the club. Structures are broken I think it’s not proper for my image to go into the season with such a situation."
The Dutchman has also been accused to frustrating players which he has vehemently denied.
"It's not true I frustrated the players and made their stay at the club difficult. Whoever that says that is a lie.
"Which coach doesn't want to work with the best players? And so such talk can only come from little minds."
Tanko Mohammed refused contract extension while goalkeeper Stephen Arholu opted to play for Medeama SC upon his return from Israel.
