Portuguese giants FC Porto are keen to snatch Ghanaian wunderkind Ernest Ohemeng from under the noses of Belgian side Club Brugge.

The talented winger has arrived in Belgium to undergo trials with the Pro League giants but Porto are eager to lure him to their camp.

Ohemeng's impressive talent has drawn comparison to Ghana winger Christian Atsu who earned his name in the Super Liga playing for Rio Ave and Porto.

The former Asokwa Warriors player, who had his early soccer lesson at Anokye Stars Football Club, where he was the captain of the team was scouted by one of the scouts of Cheetah FC, Baffour Owusu Asamoah.

Baffour said of Ohemeng: "His is very fast with the ball and very skilful. His runs from the flanks are usually lethal and he is almost impossible to tackle when he gets his head down. His balance when running at speed is incredible.

He is quick, skilful, incisive, balanced a stylish runner with the ball, an excellent dribbler and has a good burst of pace in order to beat his marker. Ohemeng is known to be a skilful speedster and a scorer of vital goals and tips to become a great player in the future."

He trained with Brugge for the first time on Monday morning and he watched Ghana defender Daniel Opare in action for Standard against Cercle Brugge.

FC Basel, Anderlecht and KV Mechelen are all watching the youngster.
