Portuguese side Moreirense will be earning 15 percent of the 11 million Euros transfer fee Levante sold Ghana forward Emmanuel Boateng to Dalian Yifang for.

Moreirense sold Emmanuel Boateng to Levante for 2 million Euros but inserted in the contract was a 15 percent share of onward transfer.

Levante is expected to pay Moreirense 1.6 million Euros as their share of the money received from Chinese side Dalian Yifang.

Levante confirmed on Wednesday the transfer of the striker to Dalian Yifang but could not disclose the exact figures involved in the deal.

However, according to COPE VALENCIA, the La Liga club earned 11 million Euros on the transfer of the player. Levante recruited Boateng from Portuguese side Moreisense for 2 million Euros in the summer of 2017.

Boateng will be fondly remembered in a Levante shirt for netting a hat-trick in a memorable 5-4 victory at home to Barcelona last May.

The forward made 50 first-team appearances for Levante across La Liga and the Copa del Rey, scoring eight times.
